The winds of winter whipped up today and while the snow fall may have been only a few inches the drifts and blowing snow made it seem like much more.

I tried several shots with the tripod and an umbrella out in the windy night using some of the house lights but it was futile.

After giving up on the snow storm shots I settled for some safe pictures on my porch.

It's actually a door knocker

Of all my attempts of nighttime storm shots I think my photo of my "snow mower" was about as good as it got.
