I was down at the pond this evening to site in guns as tomorrow is the first day of rifle season for deer.

Frozen pond reflects the evening sky

Luckily I had my camera with me so I could catch the pretty scene on the pond.

Hoar frost on blue

On the road this morning I also notice the return of the hoar frost I had featured in photographs from much earlier this year.

I tired contrasting the frost on a few different backgrounds to see how they'd compare.
