It was a partly cloudy day today and finally a nice chance for some photos.

The storm front moves in

As I went out for a photo hike with the dogs it was obvious a cold front was heading our way.

A little church is ready to weather the storm

My wife actually pointed out the above photo possibility with the church. I see the church almost every day but rarely find it all that photographic.

The storm clouds pinch the nice day against the mountainside

I went up to a clearing on a hillside not too far from out house to get the next two pictures and it turned into an awful little experience.

The trees are ready for the coming winter storms

As I'm taking pictures I hear one of my dogs making a terrible commotion and when I go over to investigate I see that Sunny has gotten snared in a coyote trap.

Ominous clouds are bringing a cold rain

After she bit me once in her panic I was able to free her. To my amazement she had nothing more than a sore leg with no real damage. We both quickly calmed down and headed home nursing our wounds as it started to rain.

Hanging out with mom

It was nice to get home a settle down with the family.
