I figured it would be another lousy day for pictures and as I was getting the mail I captured this group of trees in the very last bit of daylight. I think it would have been a little better if I had turned off the car's headlights.

Anyway, as I turned around to get back in the car I noticed that I had just missed the moon rising as it was quickly moving behind a cloudy sky.

Later in the evening I took a walk and noticed even with the fog and some clouds there may be some opportunities for pictures.

Here's another shot of my oft photographed tree. I like the foreground better in this one but it was a little foggier so overall the first gets my nod.

I feel like these pictures finally got me out of a bit of a photo funk.
