My big plan was to capture tonight's lunar eclipse on film. The clouds cleared just in time for the action but I was left disappointed. Sure it was interesting but certainly nothing worthy of a picture. So, here's some pictures from snowboarding at Wisp Resort in western Maryland.

The lights and a flash capture a snowboarder at night
I'm not big on flash photography but sometimes it is a requirement. My wife gets a running magazine and the cover always has an outdoor runner pictured and it is always obvious that it is taken with a flash. I really don't like it and I think it comes out looking fake.

Snowboarding through the snow bubbles
The flash in this photo reflected off the misting snowfall and I think it made for an interesting, but not great, effect. But since it's my buddy in the picture I'll give him some props. If I was more skilled in my digital darkroom (Photoshop) I could probably do more with this one.

He's getting stronger as every day passes
And finally a baby picture taken with a flash. He is laying on the bed and doing his best to show off his strong neck.
