The temperature outside was nice for a mid-February hike but the sun stayed away all day. The picture below would have been better but there was no way to frame the tree with the old barn in the background and not get a little of the new outbuilding on the right.

Exploring down at the Big Sandy I came across a wet lot on the river bank with an interesting small orange fungus growing on it. This picture-a-day project has really opened my eyes to fascinating things I previously would overlook. I'm also learning I need to bring the tripod with me more often.
