It's nice being home for a week of paternity leave. I got to take a mid-week hike in the daylight with the dogs.

The only thing Rocky loves more than sticks are rocks, seriously

Not long into our walk Rocky found a good stick, even if it was rather large. But soon he had to let it go as we were headed for the old Jonas 1850's homestead just a mile or so from our house.

I met one of the new owners of the homestead and I have permission to take more pictures "anytime". I will take advantage as there are plenty of photo opportunities. Just like there are with my three-day-old son and beautiful wife...
