I don't want this to become a photo diary of my child, but I must say he takes some nice photos!
|
| Looking a little smug as he takes a nap |
We brought him home today so that gave me the chance to get outside again with the camera. A snowy winter day with temperatures right around freezing isn't really ideal conditions.

| A weed holds a collection of snow |
I found this interesting plant that I nicknamed the Venus Snow Trap. I'll have to get another photo when the snow melts but I think the top of this weed usually lies rather flat. But as you can see above they seem to curl in on themselves to hold the new-fallen snow.

| A tree on a hill top borrows the branches of another |
The top of the hill in the above photo is currently being logged and it is leaving behind many trees that are quite top heavy with branches. I liked the trick of filling out the branches of this tree with a few from the one in the background. I know, I'm obsessed with trees.
